Size guide

A ring that fits is a ring you forget. Here is how to find yours, before it is crafted.

The guide includes a check frame the size of a bank card to confirm the print scale, circles to compare with a ring you already wear, and a ring sizer to cut out.

Three ways to measure

With a ring you already wear. Print the guide at 100%, without "fit to page", and check the scale with a bank card. Place your ring on the circles: your size is the one whose line exactly touches its inner edge.

With the ring sizer. Cut out the strip, wrap it around the base of your finger, slide the tip into the slot and read the number aligned with the slot.

With a strip of paper. Wrap a thin strip of paper around the base of your finger, mark where it meets, then measure the length with a ruler. This circumference in millimetres is your French size: 52 mm corresponds to size 52.

The right gestures

  • Measure at the end of the day, when your fingers are at their usual size, never when cold or after exercise.
  • If your knuckle is wider than the base of your finger, the ring must pass it first: go by the knuckle measurement.
  • Between two sizes, choose the larger one. A ring with a high-set stone is worn slightly looser.
